# Faprika October 2026 Updates: What's New in Faprika This Month? Warehouse Transfer, In-Store Sales, Profit and Loss Report and More

> Faprika October 2026 updates: warehouse transfers, camera batch scanning, in-store sales, profit and loss report, marketplace questions and a faster storefront.

Every month Faprika ships a set of improvements to the panel, the mobile screens and the storefront. This article brings the **Faprika October 2026 updates** together in one place: warehouse-to-warehouse transfer, camera batch scanning, the new in-store sales screen, the profit and loss report, marketplace comparison and the questions inbox, the membership invitation for guest customers, and the storefront speed work.

For each update we explain what it is for, where to turn it on and how it fits into your daily work. The small tool in the middle of the article shows which updates matter most for your sales model. The official announcements for these updates also live on the [What's New](https://www.faprika.com/en/whats-new) page; this article is a detailed guide to them.

Key Takeaway

“A good update does not add a new screen; it shortens an existing job. All nine October updates answer the same question: how do you do the same job with fewer taps and fewer mistakes?”

## What Was Added to Faprika in October 2026?

You do not have to read the article from start to finish. Jump straight to the heading of the group you care about, or use the tool in the middle to pick the updates that fit your own sales model. At the end of each section you will find a link to a related guide that covers the topic in more depth.

Nine updates were released in October. Seven are new features and two are improvements to existing screens. They fall into four groups by topic: warehouse and stock, sales and profit, marketplace, and customers and speed.

## Warehouse and Stock Updates

Warehouse and stock is October's busiest group. Three updates make it easier to see where your stock is and how it moves. If your products sit in more than one warehouse or store, this group is directly relevant to you.

### Transfers Between Warehouses: Stay in Control of Stock Even in Transit

Sending products from a warehouse to a store, or from a store to a warehouse, is now handled end to end in the panel. A transfer request is opened, approved, picked and dispatched, and the receiving side scans the items to accept them. Stock is automatically recorded in the right place at every step.

*Görsel: Warehouse transfer flow: request, approval, picking, dispatch and receiving by scan (The five steps of a transfer: request, approval, picking, dispatch, receiving.)*

- **In-transit items show separately:** Items that have been sent but not yet received are never mixed up; stock is tracked separately as "in transit".
- **Overdue transfers stand out:** Transfers past their due time are marked in red in the list, so a forgotten shipment gets noticed.
- **Permissions can be limited to their own warehouse:** You can authorize your staff so that they see only their own warehouse.
- **Turned on in one click:** The feature is enabled in Warehouse Settings.

If you would like to see in more detail why transfers matter and how the steps work, take a look at the article below.

### Your Phone Is Now a Handheld Terminal: Camera Batch Scanning

Camera barcode scanning has been rebuilt from scratch. The scan frame, flashlight and zoom buttons speed up reading even on a dimly lit shelf. The real news is batch scanning mode: the camera stays open and you can scan products one after another.

- **Used in four jobs:** Putaway, picking from shelves, shelf transfers and counting.
- **The result appears instantly:** The result of every scan shows up right above the camera; you do not need to switch screens.
- **The same barcode is never counted twice:** An accidental double scan does not distort the stock count.
- **Where to turn it on:** Warehouse Settings > Camera Batch Scanning.

For businesses that want to run warehouse tasks on a phone without an expensive handheld terminal, this is a small but effective change. If you would like a refresher on what a barcode is and how it is used, see our What Is a Barcode article.

### Which Warehouse and Which Shelf Is Your Product In? All in One List

When you select "All warehouses" at the top of Warehouse Reports, all of your warehouses open in a single list. The new Warehouse column shows how many units of a product sit in which warehouse, and the Bins column shows which shelf it is waiting on. Products with stock that have not yet been put on a shelf appear on the same screen too.

What this improvement gives you is time: instead of opening one report after another to look for a product across stores and warehouses, you find what you are looking for in seconds. Seeing stocked products that have not been put on a shelf also removes the suspicion of lost stock.

Tip

Review your warehouse settings once

Transfers and camera batch scanning are turned on from the same place, Warehouse Settings. If you have more than one warehouse, you can check permissions on the same screen too and make sure your staff see only their own warehouse.

## Sales and Profit Updates

The second group is about speed at the register and what a sale really earns you.

### A Brand-New, Fast Screen for In-Store Sales

The screen of the In-Store Sales module has been renewed, with the goal of shortening waiting time at the register. On the new screen you can arrange frequently sold products into quick lists, choose quantities with a single tap, and scan barcodes one after another with the phone camera.

- **A cash sale closes in one move.**
- **Discounts at the register:** You can apply a cart coupon and a discount by payment type during the sale.
- **Keyboard shortcuts:** You complete the sale without taking your hands off the keyboard.
- **Stock syncs:** As soon as the sale ends, stock is synced with your online store, which lowers the risk of the same product being sold in the store and on the site and then running out.
- **The old screen is not gone:** The new screen is turned on in settings; the screen you are used to is one click away.

To see more of what the module does, take a look at the [Store Sales Module](https://www.faprika.com/en/add-ons/store-sales-module) page.

### Profit and Loss Report: See What You Really Earn

The Profit and Loss Report, added to the order reports, focuses on profit instead of revenue. It compares every product sold with its purchase price at the time of the order; sales, cost, gross profit and the net profit left after discounts are shown side by side.

*Görsel: Profit and loss report: sales, cost, gross profit, discounts and net profit columns with a daily chart and margin by product (From sales to net profit: the items the report shows.)*

- **Daily chart:** You see how profit changes from day to day.
- **Profit and margin by product:** Which products earn you money and which do not is clear at a glance.
- **Purchase price at the time of the order:** Even if the cost changes later, the report uses the price at the moment of the sale.
- **Missing purchase prices are flagged:** The report shows products with no purchase price entered separately for you.

When you open the report for the first time, it makes sense to start by filling in the products flagged as missing a purchase price; a missing cost can make profit look higher than it is. Then look at the margin by product: products that look big in revenue but have a low margin are the ones where you should rethink price or discount decisions.

## Marketplace Updates

There are two updates for businesses that sell on more than one marketplace: comparing listings and collecting customer questions in one place.

### Every Marketplace Listing Side by Side with Faprika

The Catalog > Marketplace Product Comparison screen compares your marketplace listings with your Faprika products. Results are grouped into separate tabs: unmatched listings, products with no marketplace listing, and unmatched products on sale.

- **Unmatched listings:** Listings that sit on the marketplace but are not linked to a product in Faprika are shown.
- **Products with no listing:** You catch products that exist in Faprika but have not been published on the marketplace.
- **Unmatched products on sale:** Products that are actively selling but not matched are in a separate tab; this is the list with the highest risk of lost sales.
- **Convert to a product in one click:** You can turn a listing that does not exist in Faprika into a product with a single click.

### All Customer Questions in One Inbox

Customer questions from marketplaces are now collected on a single screen. Status tabs are on the left, and the product and question history are on the right. Replying is faster too: by typing "/code" you can insert a ready-made answer in a second, have the product and customer name filled in automatically, and send the reply with Ctrl+Enter.

A fast reply means a happier customer on the marketplace. If you like, [FaprikAI](https://www.faprika.com/en/add-ons/faprikai) can prepare the reply for you. In the article below we explain why marketplace questions need quick answers and how to set up ready-made replies:

## Customer and Speed Updates

The last group has two updates on the storefront side that directly affect visitors and customers.

### Turn Guest Customers into Members with One Click

A customer who orders without signing up receives an invitation after the order. They become a member simply by setting a password; their order and addresses are waiting ready in their account.

*Görsel: Guest customer becoming a member in one click: order, email or SMS invitation, password setup and a ready account (From guest order to membership: four steps.)*

- **No details asked again:** The customer does not enter their name, address or order again.
- **Your loyal customer base grows on its own:** Membership comes without making customers fill in a separate registration form.
- **Templates are ready:** The email and SMS template is ready; you only need to open it from message templates.

### Your Store Opens Faster

Speed work was done on the storefront. The first image on the home page now arrives without waiting, product images have their space reserved in advance so the page does not shift, and menu images download only when the menu is opened. The sitemap that search engines read is also prepared much faster.

Reserving space for images in advance keeps the page from shifting while it loads; it also prevents content from jumping down just as a customer is about to press a button. Downloading menu images only when the menu opens avoids fetching unnecessary data on the first load. Speed shapes a visitor's impression in the first seconds.

A faster page means longer browsing and more orders. You do not need to do anything for this improvement; your storefront simply opens faster on its own.

## What Is the Common Theme of the October Updates?

Although the nine updates touch different screens, they share a direction: collecting information in one place and finishing work in fewer steps. Transfer lets you track stock even while it is in transit. Seeing all warehouses in one list shortens searching. A single inbox ends the back and forth between different marketplaces. Quick lists and keyboard shortcuts at the register reduce the number of taps.

The second shared direction is visibility. The profit and loss report makes earnings visible, marketplace comparison makes unmatched listings visible, and the overdue transfer list makes forgotten shipments visible. Noticing a problem is half of solving it; most of these updates make it easier first to see and then to fix.

### A Day in the Life: How Do the Warehouse Updates Work Together?

The three warehouse updates are each good on their own, and stronger still when used together. In a business with several warehouses, the day could flow like this:

1. **Morning:** The store warehouse opens a transfer request for a product that is running low, and the central warehouse approves the request, then picks and dispatches the items.
2. **Toward noon:** The items reach the store. Store staff open the phone camera and receive the box by scanning it in batch mode, one item after another; the same barcode is never counted twice.
3. **Afternoon:** The items are put on shelves. By selecting "All warehouses" in Warehouse Reports, you check which warehouse and which shelf the product now sits in.
4. **Evening:** You check the list for any overdue transfers; if there is a shipment marked in red, it gets priority the next day.

In this flow there are no paper lists, no one-by-one phone calls and no manual stock corrections; every step is recorded in the panel automatically.

### A Day in the Life: How Do the Marketplace Updates Work Together?

On the marketplace side, too, the two updates complement each other. The marketplace specialist starts the day on the product comparison screen: they check unmatched products on sale and turn listings that do not exist in Faprika into products with one click. Then they open the single inbox; they pick pending questions from the status tabs, add ready-made answers with "/code", have the product and customer name filled in automatically, and send with Ctrl+Enter. A well-matched catalog also makes it easier to answer questions with the right product history.

### Which Role Uses Which Update?

Knowing whose daily work a new feature touches makes it easier to decide who on the team learns what. The table below summarizes the updates by typical role.

| Role | Updates that help them |
| --- | --- |
| Warehouse manager | Warehouse-to-warehouse transfer, camera batch scanning, all warehouses in one list |
| Store cashier | The new in-store sales screen, camera barcode scanning |
| Marketplace specialist | Marketplace product comparison, a single inbox for questions |
| E-commerce manager | Profit and loss report, guest customer invitation, site speed improvement |
| Business owner | Profit and loss report, all warehouses in one list |

## Which Update Is for You?

Not all nine updates touch every business equally. In the tool below, choose your sales model and it will list the updates that matter most to you. The profit and loss report applies to every sales model.

## How Do You Get the Most Out of the Updates?

Turning on a new feature is often as easy as changing a setting; the real work is getting the team to start using it. We recommend following this order:

1. **Pick the ones that fit you:** Use the tool above to separate the updates, out of nine, that touch your business.
2. **Turn on the settings:** Warehouse features are turned on in Warehouse Settings, the new in-store sales screen in settings, and the guest membership invitation in message templates.
3. **Try it in a small area:** Try the transfer on a single store-warehouse pair and batch scanning on a single shelf.
4. **Guide the team:** Explain staff permissions and shortcuts once; the move to the new screen settles in within a few days.
5. **Track the result:** Regularly check which products earn you money with the profit and loss report, and where stock sits with the warehouse reports.

Tip

Introduce the new feature to the team with a screen demo

Instead of describing a new screen in writing, give your team a ten-minute live demo. Especially in areas where speed matters, like the register and the warehouse, using it together on day one shortens the learning curve.

## October Updates Checklist

To make sure the updates have really gone into use, ask yourself these questions at the end of the month:

| Title | To check |
| --- | --- |
| Transfer | Was it turned on in Warehouse Settings, and were staff permissions set to their own warehouse? |
| Batch scanning | Was Camera Batch Scanning turned on, and has it been tried in putaway and counting? |
| All warehouses | Were products with stock that are not on a shelf reviewed in Warehouse Reports? |
| In-store sales | Were quick lists set up, and has the cashier tried the new screen? |
| Profit and loss | Were products with a missing purchase price completed, and was the margin by product read? |
| Marketplace comparison | Were unmatched products on sale matched? |
| Customer questions | Were ready-made answers defined, and does the team know the "/code" shortcut? |
| Guest invitation | Were the email and SMS templates opened from message templates? |

## How Do You Keep Up with Faprika Updates?

Every update in Faprika is published as an announcement. The [What's New](https://www.faprika.com/en/whats-new) page groups the news by month and shows the newest at the top. Each update has its own link; for example, you can reach the announcement for the profit and loss report [here](https://www.faprika.com/en/whats-new#2026-10-kar-zarar-raporu) and the one for warehouse-to-warehouse transfer [here](https://www.faprika.com/en/whats-new#2026-10-depolar-arasi-transfer). The headings in this article are based on the same news items. Which feature is included in which plan may vary by plan; for details, see the [e-commerce plans](https://www.faprika.com/en/pricing) page.
