What makes up Shopify's cost in Turkey?
Shopify's monthly cost is not a single plan fee. For a store selling in Turkey, the total cost has three items, and two of them are tied to the dollar:
- Plan fee (dollars): With annual billing, monthly Basic is $19, Grow $54, Advanced $299; with monthly billing, $27, $72 and $399. Plus starts at $2,300.
- Transaction fee (on revenue): Because Shopify Payments is not available in Turkey, the store works with an external payment provider; Shopify charges an additional 2% on every sale on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus. This fee is added on top of the payment provider's own commission.
- Apps (mostly in dollars): Needs such as e-Invoice, Turkish marketplaces and shipping are not built into Shopify; they are covered by separate apps.
| Shopify plan | With annual billing (monthly) | With monthly billing | Transaction fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 19 $ | 27 $ | %2 |
| Grow | 54 $ | 72 $ | %1 |
| Advanced | 299 $ | 399 $ | %0,6 |
| Plus | From $2,300 | From $2,300 | %0,2 |
How is the calculation made?
- Shopify plan fee = the monthly dollar price of the selected plan with annual billing × the dollar rate.
- Shopify transaction fee = monthly revenue × the plan's transaction fee rate.
- Shopify apps = the monthly app amount you enter × the dollar rate.
- Faprika = the monthly price of the recommended plan with annual billing. If you issue e-Invoices or will connect to a marketplace, Ultimate is recommended; with two to five marketplaces, Elite. Faprika takes no share of your sales.
- Difference = Shopify monthly total − Faprika monthly price; multiplied by the selected period (12, 24 or 36 months).
The payment provider's (virtual POS) commission was not counted because it applies on both sides. In Faprika, add-ons outside the plan (for example shipping integrations) are licensed separately and are not part of this calculation; you can review them on the add-ons page according to your needs. Domain, theme, advertising and shipping costs were also not counted. Faprika campaigns such as "Pay 1 Year, Use 15 Months" were not counted either; the real difference may be larger during a campaign period. The dollar rate starts as the CBRT's FX selling rate of 02.10.2026; you can enter your own rate.

Frequently asked questions
How much is Shopify in Turkey?
On Shopify's Turkey pricing page, monthly Basic is $19, Grow $54 and Advanced $299 with annual billing; $27, $72 and $399 with monthly billing. Plus starts at $2,300. Because prices are in dollars, the lira equivalent changes with the exchange rate (02.10.2026).
What is Shopify's transaction fee?
Because Shopify's own payment system, Shopify Payments, is not available in Turkey, the store works with an external payment provider. In this case Shopify charges an additional transaction fee on every sale: 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus. This fee is added on top of the payment provider's own commission.
Does Faprika take a commission on sales?
No. Faprika takes no share of your sales; the plan fee is fixed and in Turkish lira.
What is not included in the calculation?
The payment provider's (virtual POS) commission applies on both sides, so it was not included. In Faprika, add-ons outside the plan are licensed separately and were not included. Domain, theme, advertising and shipping costs are similar on both platforms, so they were not included either. On the Shopify side, you enter the amount you pay for e-Invoice and Turkish marketplace apps in the apps field yourself.
Which Faprika plan is recommended?
E-Invoice: if you issue invoices or will connect to a marketplace, we recommend Ultimate (automatic e-Invoice and 1 marketplace integration); if you sell on two to five marketplaces, Elite (5 marketplace integrations). For more than five marketplaces, the Marketplace Integration Plan covers 16 marketplaces.
Can I use Faprika without closing my Shopify store?
Yes. With the Shopify Integration, Shopify orders arrive in Faprika, stock is synchronized on both sides, and invoices are issued from Faprika.
Shopify prices and transaction fees were taken from Shopify's Turkey pricing page on 02.10.2026; the dollar rate is the CBRT (TCMB) forex selling rate of 02.10.2026. Faprika prices are the current plan prices. The calculation is an estimate; for up-to-date information, please see Shopify's own page.
