New · Faprika warehouse management system

Faprika Warehouse: From order to shelf, from shelf to carrier.

From shelf addresses and cart picking to checking and counting, all warehouse work happens inside your Faprika panel. You install no extra software; it works on a phone, a handheld terminal and a computer.

  • 3.000shelf slots created at once
  • 13screens that work with barcodes
  • 3ways to scan: reader, handheld terminal, phone
  • 6tabbed warehouse reports

Why Faprika Warehouse?

When the warehouse is organized, orders go out error-free.

As sales grow, the warehouse slows down: products are searched for, the wrong product gets packed, stock doesn't match. Faprika Warehouse gives every product an address, verifies every step with a barcode and updates stock automatically. Your orders, your marketplaces and the warehouse speak within the same system.

TodayWith Faprika Warehouse

"Where is this product?" and the search goes shelf by shelf.

Every product's shelf address is known; the screen takes you to the right slot.

The wrong size or wrong color goes out to the carrier.

The scanned barcode is checked; a wrong scan triggers an audible and vibrating alert.

The warehouse is walked from start to finish for every order.

Several orders are picked in a single round, with a cart and in shelf order.

The stock in the system doesn't match what's on the shelf.

Putting away, removing from the shelf and counting all update stock; differences appear in the report.

Nobody knows who did how much work.

Staff and transaction history reports show who has the work.

1

Inside your panel

No separate warehouse program, no separate data. Orders, products and stock in one place.

2

On every device

Phone, handheld terminal or computer. The screens are adapted to the phone with large buttons.

3

Opens up step by step

You choose the rules in Warehouse Settings; as your business grows, you turn on new ones.

01Shelf and location

Every product has an address.

You define your warehouse as floors, aisles and slots. The slot's address is also its barcode; you print its label and stick it on the shelf.

  • Warehouse › Floor › Aisle › Slot structure; aisles run left and right, and a capacity is entered for each slot.
  • 3,000 slots are created at once: just enter the number of shelves, sections, floors and slots. Sample address: R03-B07-K2-G2.
  • Slot labels are printed as HTML or PDF at the size of your label template; no blank labels are inserted in between.
  • Quick areas outside slots, such as sacks and pallets, are also defined, labeled and assigned to products.
  • You can see how many days a product has been sitting on the shelf; you spot slow-moving products right away.

Tip: Address first, then product. Before you start shelving, create all the slots at once and print their labels; your team puts items in the right slot from day one.

02Goods receipt, transfer and supply

Incoming products are scanned and go into the right slot.

Shelving takes two scans: first the slot's barcode, then the products' barcodes. Stock is updated automatically, according to your setting.

Transfer

A product is moved between two slots, and also between different warehouses. Transfer and removal from the shelf are tied to separate permissions.

Shelf lookup

By scanning, you see which slots a product is in and how many units are there; you can also put it on the shelf from the same screen.

Awaiting supply

Products not in the warehouse are gathered in a list; when the product arrives, it is closed with “Arrived”.

Supplier route

The supplier's contact person, phone, WhatsApp, map and working hours on a single screen.

03Basket picking

Multiple orders, one round, one basket per order.

Select orders and open a single picking order. The screen tells you how many baskets to put on your cart, guides you shelf by shelf, and shows which basket each product goes into.

  • "Put 4 baskets on your cart." Each order is assigned a basket number in sequence.
  • The route is sorted by shelf address; it follows the physical order in the warehouse and picks from low-stock bins first.
  • Products from different orders on the same shelf are picked in a single stop.
  • Scan the product; a full-screen "PUT IN BOX 3!" alert and a sound follow. The product is allocated to its order at that moment.
  • Smart Picking groups orders by aisle and opens the picking order with one click; you choose the picker when you open the order.

No room for mistakes

The barcode is checked against the variation. A wrong scan shows "WRONG PRODUCT"; scanning again shows "ALREADY PICKED".

Couldn't find it

The bin goes onto the count list, the remaining quantity is requested from another bin; if it isn't in the warehouse, it is marked "On order".

No duplicate orders

The same order can't enter a second picking order within 10 minutes; a warning appears for an order that is in another open picking order.

Picking scenarios

A picking scenario for every warehouse.

Whatever the size of your warehouse, its number of floors or the structure of your orders, you do the picking with the method that suits you.

01

Picking mixed orders into separate boxes

Products from multiple orders are picked in one round; the product you scan goes straight into its own order's box. The screen says "PUT IN BOX 3!" and the product is allocated to its order at that moment.

02

Picking order with filters: which first?

You open the picking order using order filters; you decide which orders are picked first.

  • Single-product orders first
  • Then multi-product orders
  • Only orders containing product X
  • Orders nearing their marketplace deadline: urgent
03

Single-floor or multi-floor warehouse

You define your warehouse by floor, aisle and bin. The picking route follows the shelf address and the physical order in the warehouse; the path gets shorter in both single-floor and multi-floor warehouses.

04

Smart Picking

Groups orders by aisle and opens the picking order with one click. Products from different orders on the same shelf are picked in a single stop.

04Picking with a smartphone

No need for an expensive handheld terminal. High-performance picking with a smartphone.

Handheld terminals are expensive devices. With Faprika Depo you do picking, shelving and counting directly on a smartphone: the camera of an Android phone reads barcodes one after another, the screens are adapted to the phone with large buttons, and the shelf and quantity can be read at a glance. There is no separate program; your staff log in to the panel and start working. If you already have a handheld terminal or a barcode scanner, those work too.

Rules tailored to your team

  • Show only the next product, scan each unit separately.
  • "Start Picking" is mandatory; it can't be finished until everything is picked.
  • A summary window when picking is done.

05Checking and dispatch

One last scan before it goes out for shipping.

Order Verification has every product scanned once more before packing. A verified order is printed automatically and prepared for dispatch.

  • The order is opened by scanning the order barcode or a product barcode; products are checked unit by unit.
  • The picker's details come ready from the picking order.
  • The "Orders awaiting verification" list shows the work at the desk.
  • When verification is done, the order slip is printed automatically; the order goes on its own to your shipping integration, your ERP and e-invoicing.
  • If you prefer, verification by clicking, without barcodes, can also be enabled.

06Counting and stock

Keep what's on the shelf identical to what's in the system.

You count warehouse by warehouse, bin by bin, by scanning. You see the difference and approve it; stock is corrected with one click.

  • Bin-by-bin counting: a count is opened for a warehouse and the products of each bin are scanned; counting can also be done on a phone.
  • Match counted shelves: the difference found in the count is written to the actual product stock.
  • Reset uncounted bins: bins that were never counted are reset to zero; old records leave no phantom stock in the warehouse.
  • Bins awaiting a count: bins flagged "Couldn't find it" during picking land on this list; they are counted first.
  • Matching shelf stock to product stock: the stock that should exist is calculated from the quantity on the shelves, minus orders not yet picked; the difference list is shown first and applied only if you approve.

Our recommendation: shelve first, then match. Matching works on a "stock = total on the shelves" basis. Don't apply it before all products are shelved; at the first setup we do this step together with you.

07Reports, labels and channels

See your warehouse at a glance.

  • Warehouse Reports (6 tabs): the date range is at most 92 days.
  • Operations Board: refreshes itself every 20 seconds; the recommended picking list (up to 20 items) fits on one screen.
  • Warehouse inside the order: the "Warehouse Status" panel in the order detail shows which bin the products are in; each bin's transaction history is also kept separately.
  • Labels and printing: 6 template types (order, product, variation, order item, return and shelf); barcodes are printed in bulk and by quantity from the product list. For teams working on paper, "Print the Route".
  • Marketplaces and multiple sites: the warehouse feeds a single product stock; your marketplace integrations send this stock. With Faprika Connect, orders from your sub-sites come to the main site and all are picked from the same warehouse.

Measurable: Who, when, which bin? Shelving, transfer, picking and counting show up in the transaction history with the staff member and date; you can trace where a stock difference came from.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask about the warehouse management system

What is a WMS (warehouse management system)?

A WMS is the system that manages which shelf the products in your warehouse sit on, how orders are picked and checked, and how stock is counted. Faprika Depo does all of this inside your Faprika panel: it gives every product a shelf address, verifies every step with a barcode and updates stock automatically.

Do I need to install a separate program for Faprika Depo?

No. Faprika Depo works inside your panel; there is no separate warehouse program or separate data. Orders, products and stock are in one place. The screens are adapted for phones.

Which devices does it work with?

It works with a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner on a computer, tablet and phone; on an Android handheld terminal (including devices that don't send Enter); and on an Android phone by scanning with the camera in Chrome. On iPhone it is used from Safari with a scanner or by entering manually.

Do I need to buy a handheld terminal for the warehouse?

No. Picking, shelving and counting are done directly with a smartphone: on an Android phone the camera stays on in Chrome and barcodes are read one after another. If you have a handheld terminal or a USB / Bluetooth barcode scanner, those work too.

Can it be used in multi-floor warehouses?

Yes. You define your warehouse by floor, aisle and bin; the picking route follows the shelf address and the physical order in the warehouse. It is used in both single-floor and multi-floor warehouses.

Can I choose which orders are picked first?

Yes. You open the picking order with order filters: you can pick single-product orders first, then multi-product orders; or bring forward and urgently pick orders that contain only a specific product, or orders nearing their marketplace deadline.

How are multiple orders picked at the same time?

You select orders and open a single picking order. The screen tells you how many baskets to put on your cart, guides you in shelf order and shows which basket each scanned product goes into. If a wrong product is scanned, a "WRONG PRODUCT" warning appears.

How is stock counting done?

A count is opened for a warehouse and the products of each bin are scanned; counting can also be done on a phone. The difference list is shown to you first and is written to stock if you approve. Bins that were never counted are reset to zero, so no phantom stock remains in the warehouse.

Are marketplace orders picked from the warehouse too?

Yes. The warehouse feeds a single product stock; your marketplace integrations send this stock. With Faprika Connect, orders from your sub-sites also come to the main site and all are picked from the same warehouse.

Which plans include Faprika Depo?

The Warehouse module is included in the Exclusive plan; it is added to other plans as an extra license. The basket picking and checking screens work with the Order Verification module: included in Smart and higher plans, an extra license from Ultimate onwards.
