What Is Accounting Integration?

A technical process that allows an e-commerce platform to automatically exchange information with a company's internal operational systems (usually an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or accounting software). Thanks to this integration, key business data such as orders, inventory, customer information and financial data is synchronized in real time or at set intervals. It aims to automate business processes, reduce error rates and increase operational efficiency.
