What Is Spam?

The name given to unwanted bulk email messages, usually advertising. Spam consists of emails sent without the recipient's permission, usually by a sender the recipient does not know. It also appears as disturbing or irrelevant content in forums, blog comments and other online platforms. Sending spam is legally restricted in many countries and is considered unethical behavior.
