What Is Upload?

The process of sending data from a computer to the internet or to another device. It generally means uploading a file, document or media content to a web server, a cloud storage service or another platform. Upload is the opposite of download. Downloading means receiving data from the internet onto a computer or device, whereas uploading means sending data.
