Description
The Invoice Design & Creation module lets you design the template of your pre-printed invoice and other order printouts in the Faprika panel and print your orders with these templates. Because every company’s pre-printed invoice layout is different, the position and size of the fields are set according to your own form. A template you prepare once is saved and reused for later orders; no separate program is needed.
How Do You Prepare a Print Template?
In the Faprika panel, you see your existing templates under Content Management >> Print Templates and create a new template with Add New. You give the template a name, choose the template type and enter the width and height of the output in millimeters. In the Design Template area, you place items such as order, user and store information wherever you like by drag and drop.
Six Template Types, from Invoice to Warehouse-Shelf Document
The template types are Order/Invoice, Product, Variation, Order/Invoice Product, Return/Expense Note and Warehouse/Shelf. This way, alongside the invoice, the order form, product printout, return document and warehouse-shelf information are all designed in the same place.
Output That Fits Your Printed Invoice Exactly
You upload an image of your pre-printed form as the Background Image and place the fields on top of it; the output lands in the correct position on the printed form. You set the number of copies, whether the copies print on the same or separate pages, side by side or one below the other, and the maximum number of products on a page. You can copy a ready template and create a new one with small changes.
Single and Bulk Printing
On the Orders >> Orders page, you mark multiple orders and get a bulk printout with the steps Actions >> Select Print Template >> Print Selected. You print a single order from the Actions menu on the order detail page. Details are explained in the How to Set Up a Print Template? tutorial.
