What Is Variant?

A term used to describe different versions or types of a product, model or item. In e-commerce sites in particular, the concept of a "variant" is used for versions of the same product with different attributes such as color, size or capacity. For example, the different color and size options of a T-shirt are called the variants of that T-shirt.
