Mollie is a global payment infrastructure that lets you accept online payments from buyers in different countries. The integration in Faprika helps e-commerce sites that sell abroad, or are preparing to, set up the payment step with the methods buyers are used to. Your international customer sees the payment method they use in their own country at checkout, and you track these collections together with your orders in the Faprika panel.
How Does the Payment Step Work?
The buyer confirms their cart, selects this payment option at the payment step and completes the transaction with their preferred method. Successful card payments are recorded on the order as "Payment Completed"; if the transaction fails, the order stays in the "Payment Not Received" status. Cards, Wallets and Alternative Payment Methods
In addition to credit and debit cards, the infrastructure brings widely used payment methods such as PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna together in a single integration. Buyers complete the payment by choosing the method they are familiar with in their own country.
The Payment Side of International Sales
When you offer your products in different languages and currencies, the collection side needs to be equally ready. This virtual POS is the one used for international collection in Faprika's e-Export solution; it works together with the language, currency and country-based pricing features.
Security and Payment Reports
Payments go through fraud checks and data security measures. You can follow your payment transactions in the payment provider's reporting screens and regularly review the financial picture of your international sales.
