Description
Regional Shipping Management is a Faprika module that selects which carrier is used for which order on your e-commerce site, according to rules you define. Businesses working with several carriers can ship orders with different carriers depending on the delivery country, city and district; they can also assign a separate carrier for special cases such as fragile products, certain brands or VIP customers. This way, the most suitable shipping option for every region and every product group is offered to the customer.
How Does the Module Work?
You define the rules in the Faprika panel under Configuration >> Shipping >> Restrictions. While the customer places the order, the delivery address, user group and products in the cart are compared against these rules; the customer is offered only the carriers suitable for that order. Depending on the delivery country or city, the customer is automatically matched with the right carrier, so you do not need to separate orders one by one.
Country, City and District Restrictions
With a country restriction, you can make one carrier available only to customers in Türkiye and another to delivery regions outside Türkiye. With a city restriction, for example, one carrier is used for orders going to Istanbul and another for other cities. The district restriction is even more detailed: you can enable a carrier only in certain districts of a province and disable it in the others.
User Group, Category, Brand and Supplier Restrictions
The rules are not tied to the address alone. You can define one carrier for your customers in the VIP user group and another for your standard members. You can also choose a separate carrier for product categories with different logistics needs, for each brand in your portfolio and for each supplier you work with. If the supplier's location or the nature of the product determines the shipping method, these settings simplify your operations.
Regional Shipping Pricing
Under Configuration >> Shipping >> Shipping Providers, you edit the pricing for each carrier. You can set a desi-based or fixed price according to the size and weight of products, and customize desi pricing by country, city and district. This way, you apply one shipping fee to customers in Türkiye and a different one to customers ordering from abroad.
