Description
Order Verification is a Faprika module that lets you check the products in every order prepared in the warehouse by barcode before packaging. Wrong or missing product shipments cause returns and extra shipping costs, and shake the customer's trust in your brand. With this module, the order is confirmed before the package is closed; when verification succeeds, the next steps such as shipping, invoicing and order status proceed automatically in the way you choose.
How Does Verification Work?
The staff member preparing the shipment prints the order slip and picks the products. In the Faprika panel, on the Orders >> Order Verification screen, they scan the barcode on the order slip or type in the order number; the products in the order appear on screen. When each product's barcode is scanned, the product turns green; if a wrong barcode is scanned, it turns red. Verification is complete once all products in the order have been scanned correctly.
Products Without Barcodes
If some of your products have no barcode, turn on the "Allow Verification Without Barcode" setting to select these products with the keyboard and mouse and still complete verification. Products with and without barcodes are checked together in the same process.
Automatic Actions After Verification
Under Configuration >> Settings >> Order Verification Settings, you choose what happens when verification succeeds: the order moves to a status you define, is sent to the shipping integration, is transferred to your ERP or accounting software and invoiced there, is sent to the e-Invoice integration so the invoice is delivered to the customer by email, and the invoice printout is printed automatically. The customer is also notified automatically about the order status. The e-Invoice step requires the Faprika e-Invoice module to be installed.
Staff and Order Status Control
You grant verification permission to a specific user group, for example the "Warehouse" group; only users in this group can perform verification. With the "Picking Staff Active" setting, you record which staff member picked the order and monitor your team's performance. You also choose the order statuses in which verification is allowed, so a cancelled order cannot be verified and shipped by mistake. If the shipping status after verification is set to "Shipped" and Faprika SMS or email notification is on, the customer is informed immediately; if the shipment will leave in the evening, verification done in the morning may lead the customer to ask "where is my tracking number?", so we recommend setting the timing accordingly.
