Description
The Story module brings the familiar story look from social media apps to the home page of your e-commerce site. You present the products, categories and campaigns you want to highlight in scrollable, visually driven short blocks. Thanks to this layout, which they already know from their phones, your visitors quickly reach the product group they are interested in.
How Does Story Work?
Story is one of the showcase templates in Faprika. In the Faprika panel, under Content Management >> Showcase Management, when adding a new showcase you select Story as the template and add the images and products to be shown in the story. The Story area sits right below the slider image on your home page; no separate program or code is required.
Directing to a Product Group or Campaign
With the images and products you add to each story, you direct your customers to a specific product group, category or campaign. For example, you can show the products you want to highlight in the dresses category in the story, with images that visitors can scroll through.
Management with Showcase Settings
Because Story is defined as a showcase, you can also use showcase settings such as language selection, order and active/passive status here. This way you can show different stories to visitors in different languages and take an outdated story off the site without deleting it. Familiar Use on Mobile
The Story view can also be used in the mobile-friendly interface and in the mobile app. Your customers move through the images as comfortably as on social media; they see your campaign without scrolling down a long page.
