What Is Marketplace?

An online shopping environment in which different sellers can offer their products or services through a single platform. Marketplaces allow sellers to reach a wide customer base without setting up their own e-commerce sites. On the other hand, they give consumers the chance to choose among many sellers and products. Platforms such as Trendyol, Amazon and Hepsiburada are popular examples of marketplaces.
