What Is Google Search Console?
Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools) is a free Google service that lets site owners monitor how their websites perform in Google Search. You can track here which searches the site appears for, click and impression counts, pages that are and are not indexed, sitemap submission, and mobile usability and page experience reports. On e-commerce sites, it is used to measure the search visibility of product and category pages and to spot SEO problems early. In 2015, the Webmaster Tools name was changed to Search Console.
