What Is Order Management?

Order management is the planning, tracking and execution of all the steps from the moment an e-commerce order is created until it is delivered to the customer and closed. Receiving the order, payment and stock checks, picking and verifying products, invoicing, shipping, customer notifications, and returns and exchanges are all part of this process. For businesses that sell across multiple channels such as a website, marketplaces and a physical store, collecting orders in a single panel keeps stock up to date across all channels.
