Description
Modanisa is a marketplace selling categories such as modest fashion, headscarves, outerwear, evening wear and accessories. Faprika's Modanisa integration transfers the products on your e-commerce site to this store and lets you manage stock and price updates, incoming orders and shipping notifications from the Faprika panel. It is a way to keep product information in one place for brands that sell clothing both on their own site and on the marketplace.
Before You Start
Before setting up the integration, your brand must be approved on Modanisa and your seller account must be opened. You enter the API username and password you receive from the marketplace on the Store Settings screen in the Faprika panel and activate the store. Then you select the price rules, safety stock, the order channel to which orders will be transferred, the payment type, the user group and the shipping company. All steps are explained in the Modanisa integration tutorial.
Fabric Information: A Modanisa-Specific Step
The marketplace requires fabric information when sending products. With the "Fetch Fabric Information" button, you pull the marketplace's current fabric types into your panel. On the Fabric Information tab, opened from the "Modanisa Operations" button on the product detail page, you select one or more fabric types and enter their percentages; the total must be 100 (for example, 70 percent cotton, 30 percent polyester). A marketplace code is also entered for each product.
Category, Attribute and Brand Mapping
You update the marketplace's categories and match them with the categories on your site. Then, by updating the mapping list, you see the mandatory attributes such as size and color as well as optional attributes, and match the values automatically or one by one; size 38 on your site is matched with size 38 on the marketplace. On the Brand Management screen, you pull the marketplace's brands and match them with your own brand.
Product Sending and Order Tracking
In Product Sending Settings, you choose which products will be sent using category and tag filters; sending products with images, normal and active products is recommended. The transfer starts with "Resend Products Not Created," and products go on sale after the marketplace's approval. When you update an order as "Shipped," the marketplace is notified automatically; this notification serves as a reference for preventing customer-initiated cancellations.
